Since our return from Singapore, there has been two significant changes with Sera. First change, is that she feeds herself all her meals. I'm really not boasting here, in fact, I really don't mind feeding her at all - it's faster and much cleaner. She refuses to wear a bib, even after I demonstrated wearing one myself. She actually laughed at me and simply continued eating her meal. I give up! But in her defence, she has been getting more nimble-fingered with her spoon and fork, thus the mess is decreasing everyday.
The second change is that she refuses to eat anything that resembles or tastes like a vegetable! Gulp. What happened? I remember the times I used to rave about her green consumption. Somehow just overnight, her tiny tongue can detect even the most minute fibrous vegetable. So these days, I'm learning to include greens in her meals, in a 'deceptively delicious' way. Ha ha. This girl ....
Ok, this meal seriously tastes better than it looks. It's actually lasagne with spinach-tomato sauce, mushrooms and asparagus
She ate everything ... except the asparagus
Sera, on her first morning back to school. As you can tell, it was a wet, cold and pretty dreary morning but she was visibly excited about going to school
And one more pose before we set off to school
